Services for aggregation of 3D content using MINT
MINT is a web based platform that designed to facilitate aggregation initiatives for cultural heritage content and metadata in Europe.
EFHA and MINT
MINT is a tool used also in EFHA’s aggregation service.
EFHA’s instance of MINT supports metadata harvesting/upload, data analysis, metadata mapping (to EDM and/or the EDM-fp metadata schema), metadata validation and publication to EFHA’s portal service.
MINT is fully operational and supported by the National Technical University of Athens for Europeana and its aggregators.
The EFHA workflow for metadata harvesting, mapping, transformation, enrichment, validation, and publication to Europeana is well-established and fully operational.
EFHA MINT Users are able to:

EFHA MINT Users are able to:
- Import metadata in MINT (XML,CSV,HTTP,FTP,OAI-PMH);
- Create and edit mapping of metadata to EDM-fp/EDM schema;
- Transform the mapped metadata to EDM/XML records ;
- Preview the results and publish to the EFHA portal and to Europeana.eu.
EFHA
- Administrates users in MINT;
- Checks and validates metadata for publication;
- Provides expert support for data providers, in some cases for the entire aggregation workflow (i.e. harvesting, mapping, validation, enrichment to publication).
