5Dculture partners CARARE, TMO and Inception will lead an in-person workshop at the renowned EuropeanaTech conference, staged in The Hague between 10th and 12th October 2023. This year's annual meeting of the
EuropeanaTech community will run under the topic "
Explore, Engage, Experience: cultural heritage in the data space and beyond" and is the fourth issue of this successful event, following the previous editions in Vienna, Paris and Rotterdam.
The conference is for all tech-minded professionals, developers, researchers and students working in and around digital cultural heritage across the globe. It will be a fantastic opportunity to meet with, learn from and work with your peers, as well as to become part of a community dedicated to Tech in culture, and explore the challenges and opportunities that topics like AI and 3D bring to the sector.
Needless to say, that our project consortium is at the very heart of this conference, hosting a workshop on the first day (10. October) under the topic "Creating and Sharing 3D in the common European data space for cultural heritage" led by Kate Fernie (CARARE), Sander Muenster (University of Jena / Time Machine Organisation) and Marco Medici (Inception). The workshop is in-person only, tickets are still available
here at the conference website.
Don't miss this opportunity to engage with fellow researchers and discuss current topics evolving around the use and re-use of 3D data in the field of cultural heritage.
